About Shark Bay

Shark Bay is a World Heritage Site in the Gascoyne region of Western Australia. The main town in the region is Denham which is 820 kilometers north of Perth and can easily be accessed via car in a single day driving.

There is a globally unique area with the stromatolites within Hamelin Pool, which has the best example of these unique living fossils found in the world.
